It came and went: it was my first SXSW experience and it was grandiose. I’ve got so many notes saved on my Evernote that it’s going to take me a while to go through them. I’ll have to do it soon, as I will be choosing 5 of the many talks I attended to present them “ignite-style” to some of my coworkers in the next following days.

That shoud be fun.

After that, I will be sharing most of my notes, thoughts and photos (perhaps even videos?) of this event here with “y’all”.

I’d like to express public gratitude to Pearson Education for taking me (and so many other “Pearsonites”) to Austin this year. I had never truly considered going before and I don’t know if I would have this year either. Needless to say, I’m really glad I did.

All I’ll say for now is: 1. I’m not missing SXSW next year; and 2. I’m staying for the “music” part next year as well.

I haven’t been able to listen to Sirius XMU or read music web-sites without learning about the myriad of bands playing there and I’ve been missing this past week.

…and there’s of course that Motörhead show that took place the day we left…
